Thai-engineered Prefabricated Unit measuring 43 × 14 × 12 metres and weighing 837,593 kilograms loaded at Chuk Samet Port for shipment to Baytown, Texas.
CHUK SAMET PORT, THAILAND — April 22, 2026 — DEE Delight Port Stevedoring Services has completed a major heavy-lift and project-cargo operation involving a Super Heavy Module weighing more than 800 tons, reinforcing the company’s capability in international project-cargo handling.
The operation took place at Chuk Samet Port, where DEE Delight engineered and executed the lift and handling of a large Prefabricated Unit for export to Baytown, Texas, USA, a global petrochemical industrial hub.
The cargo included a Prefabricated Unit destined for the energy and petrochemical sector, weighing 837,593 kilograms as recorded against the shipping mark and measuring approximately 43 metres long, 14 metres wide, and 12 metres tall — dimensions that demanded detailed planning, specialist rigging engineering, and strict operational control.
Beyond the primary module, the same shipment also included multiple oversized items ranging from 40–50 tons to 400–500 tons. DEE Delight’s project team executed the full operational sequence — lift planning, equipment coordination, cargo handling, site control, and safety supervision.
Mr. Krit Seetongoon, Chief Executive Officer of DEE Delight Port Stevedoring Services, said the operation extends DEE Delight’s heavy-lift and project-cargo capability and reinforces Thailand’s position as an export base for super-heavy industrial modules.
Krit said heavy-lift work at this scale demands engineering discipline, precise planning, experienced personnel, and a strong safety culture.
“For cargo of this scale, rigging engineering is critical — from calculating lift forces and angles to pick-point selection and load distribution. Every step must be designed to ensure a safe, balanced, and efficient operation,” he said.

The project marks a milestone for Thailand’s project-cargo industry. The module was manufactured in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and prepared for export to the United States, demonstrating the country’s growing role in supporting international energy and petrochemical projects.
DEE Delight continues to scale its capabilities in stevedoring, heavy-lift handling, and integrated project-cargo logistics for industrial customers in Thailand and overseas, supporting large-scale industrial projects with international safety standards and the expertise of Thai heavy-lift specialists.
